Martingale collar

The Custom Color Martingale Collar is made with sturdy nylon webbing, brass hardware, and an adjustable slip design that helps prevent backing out when fitted correctly. Choose your main color and accent color for a collar that feels more personal than the standard rack options.

Martingales are especially useful for dogs with narrow heads, thick necks, or a talent for slipping regular collars. The collar adjusts to sit comfortably at the neck, then gently tightens when there is leash tension.

Sizing

Measure both the widest part of your dog’s head and the size of their neck. Choose a size where both measurements fall within range.

• XXS: 3/4" wide, fits 9"–11.5"
• XS: 3/4" wide, fits 11"–15"
• Small: 1" wide, fits 11"–15"
• Medium: 1" wide, fits 14"–18"
• Large: 1" wide, fits 17"–23"

Breed suggestions are only a starting point. Measuring gives the best fit.

Fit

Standard martingale collars do not have a closure. Adjust the collar to its largest size, slip it over your dog’s head, then adjust it down at the neck. You should be able to fit 2–3 fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck. It should feel snug, not tight.

For dogs with a larger head and slimmer neck, a side-release buckle may make fitting easier.

Care

Hand wash with mild soap and lay flat to dry.

Good to know

Martingale collars are meant for supervised walks and training. They should not be left on during crate time, rough play, or unsupervised wear.
