An ultra-durable antler chew for dogs who take chewing seriously.
Farm to Pet’s Reindeer Antlers for Dogs, also called caribou antlers, are wild-gathered Alaskan reindeer antler sheds made for aggressive chewers of all sizes and chewing styles. Available in whole and split varieties, these antlers offer a long-lasting, odor-free, and splinter-resistant chew with mineral-rich outer layers and protein-packed marrow.
Choose a split reindeer antler for exposed marrow and a little more immediate reward, or a whole reindeer antler for determined power chewers who enjoy a tougher, longer challenge.
Details
Whole vs. split
Split reindeer antlers have the marrow exposed, making them a better choice for dogs who want easier access to the center.
Whole reindeer antlers have an extremely hard exterior and are best for determined power chewers who enjoy a tough, long-lasting challenge.
Antler toughness
Farm to Pet notes the general toughness order as:
Safety
Never choose a small antler just to try it out, as it may become a choking hazard.
Always choose an antler chew in proportion to your dog’s size. Your dog should be able to hold the antler in their paws and chew on one end.
Supervise dogs while chewing, especially aggressive chewers. Regularly inspect the antler and replace it if there are signs of excessive wear, breakage, or splintering. Discard before it reaches a size that could become a choking hazard.
Do not give antler chews to puppies until their milk teeth have fallen out, usually after six months of age. Do not give antler chews to dogs with broken or missing teeth or other dental issues. Consult your vet with any safety or health concerns.
Good to know
Reindeer antlers are the toughest option in Farm to Pet’s antler lineup. Split reindeer antlers give dogs access to exposed marrow, while whole reindeer antlers are better for dogs who need the hardest, most challenging chew.
